Biography for Rev. Trey T. Kinsey
Trey Kinsey currently serves as the Worship and Production Pastor of Liberty Church in Spring Lake, NC, a church of roughly 1500 attendees. There he oversees all worship service planning and implementation as well as all audio-visual capabilities across the entire campus. He also oversees all IT for Liberty Church as well. Trey leads worship services as primary worship leader from the main platform weekly and he currently oversees roughly 65 paid staff and volunteers who serve at Liberty Church using their musical and technological talents as members of the Worship Arts Team ministry. Trey graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL with a B.S. in Ministerial Leadership with a minor in Organizational Leadership.
Trey also serves in the community at large in several ways. Trey is currently serving as the Staff Chair for Rotary Youth Leadership Awards for Rotary District 7690 which leads the event's Counselor and Junior Counselor Staff, serves as the conference overall Master of Ceremonies (MC), and presents on several of the conferences topics throughout the week. Trey has also served as Board Member for the Western Harnett Youth Recreation Board of Directors, an organization that provides community organized sports for over 1600 students in the southern portion of Harnett County and serves as head and assistant coaches for several age groups for baseball.
Trey is husband to Kristi Kinsey, current RYLA 7690 Director, father to Noah (11) and Branson (6). In his free time, Trey is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, and skeet shooting as much as possible, and spending time hiking and fishing in the mountains in the western part of NC.
Trey has a passion for all things leadership, leadership theory, its practice, and its impact on organizations. Trey has been in positions of leading others since Elementary School and considers himself a constant student in the arts of influencing others for positive impact in this world.
