Each course is designed to be a building block or a launching pad.
The class size is limited to 12 students so we can share quality time together; no one gets overlooked and each one helps add to the experience.
The six-week courses are 6 consecutive once-a week 90-minute sessions.
The Saturday Seminars are one-time sessions lasting 7 hours (including break times). There are no prerequisites for these courses.
Beginning in the autumn of 2027, we will be adding an advanced class. The prerequisite for these classes is having taken the From Writer to Author course OR being one of Sheltering Tree. Earth's contracted authors.
Also beginning in the autumn of 2027, we will be adding a course on how to write beginning reader illustrated books. There is no prerequisite for this course

Refund & Attendance Policy
Refunds are not available for any course. Because enrollment reserves a seat in a small group and includes access to course materials, tuition is non‑refundable once registration is complete.
Missed classes cannot be rescheduled or made up individually. Due to the privacy of intellectual property, no sessions will be recorded.
Exceptions may be made only in cases of true emergency or serious hardship (for example, hospitalization, major medical events, or the death of an immediate family member). These situations will be handled with compassion and on a case‑by‑case basis.
