Earth is on the cosmic Naughty List. It's been this way for 250 years, ever since alien elves first arrived and selected a human to be a role model for how to get on the Nice List.
His name? Santa Claus.
To get on the Nice List, humans must show they are kind, caring, generous, selfless, and mature enough to work for the greater good of the world and its future generations. Once on the Nice List, they will receive powerful alien technology that would greatly improve Earth, but if misused would lead to a global disaster. This is why humans must first pass the Nice List test.
Unfortunately, humans have proven to be the most difficult species the elves have ever worked with. The clock is ticking; the elves are losing patience.
